omanWise Midwifery is an intimate midwife-owned private practice which integrates well-woman gynecology and holistic, full-scope midwifery care within the safety of either a hospital or birth center setting. Clients have a choice of delivering at Montgomery Hospital, an excellent midwife-friendly community hospital in Norristown, or Valley Birth Place, an intimate home-like atmosphere in Huntingdon Valley.
Montgomery Hospital offers a Special Care Nursery. 24 hour medical anesthesia and rooming in. Valley Birth Place offers queen size beds, jacuzzi tubs and early discharge. In both settings, partner involvement is encouraged throughout the labor and birth process.
Many insurance plans are accepted, including Aetna, Cigna, Personal Choice, Keystone Health Plan East, Blue Cross, United Healthcare and Americhoice.
